I'm loving this [PFS]. I've built so many places now with steel portal frames and it's always a nightmare. Logistically and labour wise. If I ever see an opportunity to adapt this method, I most definitely will recommend [thumsbs up].

I am already using the Simpson SDWS screws for my wall frames, the SDWC are a no brainer now with the Quik Stik. No need for a ladder or hammer, I won’t be using triple grips ever again.

I can’t believe you don’t have to use triple grips anymore. This (SDWC on Quik Stik) saved heaps of time, only took a few seconds!

I turned up on site today and the builder has used the HTT4 strong tie hold down brackets on all of these posts! I paused and asked why he’d used those, he says he only uses strongtie hold down brackets now!! “They’re just so much better and stronger, I buy them in bulk! I think they’re great!” 

I’ve used the Quik Drive tool for years. It’s so much easier than crawling around on my knees like I used to when fixing flooring, and now that I can use it for Decking and Weatherboards it’s even better!

The other fantastic product that we use a lot of is the Deck Drive Stainless Steel 305 Wood Screw for screwing timber decks down with.

The 10g x 65mm T-25 Head is strong and perfect for using with our small impact drivers and my clients really like the look of the screws in the finished deck.

The new CCN64 connector nailer is super good as it saved us about 4 hours alreday!
