Flexible Extension Tubing​

​The Simpson Strong-Tie^® Flexible Extension Tubing, when combined with Piston Plugs, offers you an easy-to-use, reliable and less time-consuming means to dispense chemical anchors into drilled holes for threaded rod and rebar dowel installations in overhead, upwardly inclined and horizontal orientations. The matched tolerance design between the piston plug and drilled hole virtually eliminates the formation of voids and air pockets during dispensing.​​

Chemical Anchor Piston Plug

​The Piston Plug works in conjunction with our Flexible Extension Tubing. This system is designed for dispensing chemical anchors into drilled holes for threaded rod and rebar dowel installations in overhead, upwardly inclined and horizontal orientations as well as deep embedments and submerged (underwater) concrete conditions. The matched tolerance design between the piston plug and the drilled hole virtually eliminates the formation of voids and air pockets during dispensing. A barbed end provides a reliable connection to the flexible extension tubing.​

ARC Adhesive Retaining Caps​

​ARC adhesive retaining caps make overhead and horizontal anchor installations easier by preventing the chemical anchor from running out of the hole. They also center the rod or rebar dowel in the hole, making them ideal for applications where precise anchor placement is required. Adhesive retaining caps are not designed to support the weight of the anchor, so it’s advisable in overhead installations to provide an adequate means of anchor support during cure time. ARC retaining caps may be used in conjunction with our Piston Plug and Flexible Extension Tubing.​

• ​The slit in the cap allows the insert to pass through while containing the chemical anchor in the hole​
